Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best recognized for her roles on the television shows The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she made her debut with an acting role in 2003. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights activist Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the notice of the general public. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the show's third season. Hind has recently completed shooting on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will be released in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj, an Army scientist who died on March 18 2017. She as well as her mother Vrinda are both homemakers. There is an older brother Aditya Rai who works as an engineer in the merchant navy. The brother of Bachchan co-produced and wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Her return to Bollywood was in Dhoom: 2 2006 before she made Provoked: An True Story (2006). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent people to one another.
